Stone the flamin' crows

Everyone's favourite surf club president (is he? Or did I make that up?) Alf Stewart, as in Ray Meagher has been nominated for Australia's most prestigious television accolade, the Gold Logie. Logie. Why is it called that? It just makes it sound cheap. You don't hear the Academy Awards called, OK so they are called Academy's but the Oscars aren't called the Oscies. If they were it would just sound cheap. Good luck Alf. Considering it's based on the public vote, I say he has it in the bag. Everyone loves a good boganism and Alf is the master of the occa saying. Vote #1 Ray!
